About
Me

I didn’t always plan to be a therapist. I graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in international relations, planning to work in government and do something overseas. After moving to South Africa for a number of years, I stumbled upon therapy as a client. I went through a time in my own life where I felt lost, anxious, and depressed, and I wasn’t sure how to navigate that. I found a wonderful therapist, and as they say, the rest is history. I found hope, healing, inspiration, and empowerment; and little did I know at the time, I found my perfect career-match.
Ten years after graduating from B.U., I went back to school and graduated from Wake Forest University with my master’s in counseling, focusing on mental health counseling. I found that I have a gift for hearing and carrying the hard and heavy things of life. As a therapist, my greatest joys are supporting my clients through their darkest moments and seeing my clients walk through those moments, making internal connections that are transformative.
I would be honored to walk and work with you on your journey to strength, healing, and hope.
